Loved this! The detail about the tie was spot on. He really would find it choking but he would endure anything to get that fleeting smile from Emmi. Loved that he almost forgot protocol and tried to call her by her first name.

I think I adore Peggy as well. Sounds like she is just the friend that Emmi needs.

I'm happy about that. I had a panicked moment before I posted it, but then I rationalised that I must have picked up Robert's discomfort over the tie from somewhere, and so left it in.

Peggy is great and it was fun to get to write her.
