Grr snow

It's the first big storm. I work 4.4 miles from home. Normally the drive takes between 8 and 10 minutes, depending on how you hit the lights. Tonight it took almost 40 minutes

My drive, equally short, took half an hour! Ugh.

My commiserations (accounting for hyperbole, my drive was actually closer to half an hour than forty minutes, but it just sounds more dramatic if you round up). You take care, too.

As it turned out the storm was largely over by the time I got home, so getting the car out wasn't nearly as horrible as I had been expecting.

I completely empathize. Personally, it's the cleaning snow off the car that gets me. *makes face*
