[With everything seeming quiet and peaceful, Cyril slowly wakes up. At first, he doesn't know where he is, but then his vision clears, bit by bit, and he sits up. It's his own room, and he's lying on top of his bed, and there's nobody there but him ( Read more... )

[Someone's not so half-paralyzed anymore. And he was totally not lurking around vaguely hoping Cyril'd wake up some time soon.]

[And he sure as hell didn't order some Akuma to contact him when Cyril woke up or anything. So when he kind of appears in Cyril's path it is complete coincidence don't think otherwise.]

Well well, I suppose a 'Good Morning' is in order. [Can't bring himself to say welcome back.]

Less elegant? [Tyki laughs, opening a door. Ah, kitchen. He doesn't mind, he's not really trusting anything anyone else hands him to eat or drink for a while.]

Are you quite sure you aren't sick or something?

[A kitchen? He was hoping for something classier, but it'll do for today.]

Right as rain, my dear Tyki! No, we'll make it gradually more and more elegant, until everyone slowly changes into proper gentlemen. Road and Lulu Bell are already elegant enough ladies, provided Lulu remembers to stay in human form while she eats.

[Beware, Tyki's taking off his coat and checking the available ingredients. Looks like it's going to be omelettes and flapjacks for breakfast.]

Like boiling a frog? That's a bit insidious, even for you.

Do you think that anything else would work for certain members of the family? The twins come to mind.

[A horrible thought strikes him, and he shivers]

...But we won't be inviting Wisely. Not unless he stays in Noah form. Some things are beyond curing.

Oh I don't know, I'm not sure we could do family dinner without Wisely.

[Even if he mostly thinks the guy is an ass, isn't it fun to tease Cyril?]

It's not a family meal if...if fleas and frogs are invited too. He sometimes has a frog in his hair, Tyki! A frog!

[He wraps his arms around himself, pulling a face.]

Oh come now Cyril, that frog is his friend. Can't exclude a man's friends.

Some meals are for family only. If he can prove the frog's a Noah, I'll allow it in. But not before then.

Oh now you wouldn't want the man to be miserable would you?

[Cooking and whatnot.]

[He gives a sniff, and walks closer to peer at the food as it's cooking.]

I'll be the one who's miserable if he brings frogs and blood-sucking fleas to eat with us. Turning him from a London street urchin into a fine gentleman...it's not going to be easy!

[The omelettes are just cooking--ham, salsa and cheese, with some random leafy greens--basil? Definitely just whatever Tyki found laying about.]

[Tyki is tending the flapjacks as they talk.]

Why change him?

[...It's not what Cyril's used to, but he's so ravenous this morning that he won't quibble.]

Because it's so much better when everyone's elegant~ Perhaps you wouldn't understand, Tyki, since you do spend so much time being messy in your other form.

[Maybe Tyki can gradually teach Cyril the ways of hoboing. And maybe the moon is made of blue cheese.]

It's a lot more fun to just relax than all of that tiring high society nonsense, brother.

[He just raises an eyebrow. Silly, silly Tyki and this nonsense about high society being tiring.]

One day I hope to persuade you otherwise. It's for your own good, you know.

...My, that food smells rather delicious!

Come now, how can you compare? You've never tried my way of life.

It's about done. Grab a plate.
