This is really, really, REALLY awesome *g* I read through the rough draft last time, and remember being blown away by how intricate this whole world is and the language, the LANGUAGE. Words can't express my GLEE when I was reading all the pirate-y speak :D

A-a-and, can I just say, I LOVE the Allen/Lavi parts, the hug at the end = SQUEE FLAIL SQUEE SOME MORE. That's how awesome it was, the awesomeness of the awesome fic cannot be summed up in the number of awesomes I use here.

And I've obviously been restraining myself because I haven't even begun to squeal about the art. Because the art is WIN. "The Crow's Nest" picture looks so very cosy, and I love all their expressions, how they're all sorta contented-looking ♥ Miranda is fab with her hair down, Mouse!Timcanpy is all sorts of adorable, Lenalee is all sorts of adorable and beautiful, Cross is all sorts of badass-ery...badass. Yes :D

Yes sirree, I am loving this pirate adventure ♥ ♥ ♥ A job well done to both freakingcage7 and epicsoup!

Allen's internal debate on whether he should go or stay. i was so sad. So sad so sad. My poor heart. You made it ache for quite a while there. And then he and Lavi saying goodbye. Oh, my heart, my heart.

Cross' was way too awesome. XD Talk about a grand entrance! He sure knows how to waltz in with style. Late, but at a crucial time, and saving everyone's ass to boot. Typical Cross.

The hints at the whole Mana-14th-Allen thing. Ooohohoho, dark things await! XD I really liked it because it both made this AU and canon slightly more alike, and because it gave a new dimension to the story, even if it is not revealed.

The moment with Allen, Kanda and Lavi up in the "Crow's Nest" - that moment and the picture made me flail with glee.♥ So awesomeee~

Speaking of pictures, the art was incredible! Timcanpy as a mouse looked so cute! And with the little hat! >.< ♥♥♥♥♥♥ The Miranda pic was lovely♥ I love her eyes there. *__* The pic

Allen was wonderful ("Not entirely unexpected isn't it? You were friendly enough when we first met." -- "But only if I lead." ♥♥♥ And even his seaman talk has this elegant flow and kindness which is very Allen~) and Lavi SHONE. He was just perfect. I can't quote because everything he said was wonderful. ♥ By the way, I love how he calls Allen and Allen only 'love'.

Oh my god. You just summed it up perfectly. YES, the way Allen's seaman talk is still him is just...I don't even know how freakingcage7 does it.

I am so glad you liked Lavi, because I'm kind of obsessed with him. I was worried about characterizing him wrongly, so I'm happy to see you think I did a good job! Lavi and Allen's kiss went exactly as planned then, I'm glad your heart broke! (I mean that as...well, hopefully you know what I mean. :D)

Oh, and when I stated "passion," it was actually a very broad term, so it could be either of your imaginings or both. Lavi's just passionate in general, and I think everything he does is whole-hearted. <3

AND ARE THE PICTURES SO PRETTY? I have Timcanpy as my background right now, and I'm not letting him go. (Until tomorrow--when I switch it to Miranda!)

..I feel like I'm bit late to the party, but I'll comment nevertheless. (feeling pretty stupid right now for not realizing DGure fandom has BigBangs as well..) It took me several days to finish reading this, but now that I have, all I can say is WOW. That..must've taken so much time to write. And plan. With sailor slang as well. English being not my first language I was a bit lost at first, but I got used to it quickly. I'm glad I didn't stop reading by then
