You know, most of the time, the people I'm friends with all pretty much like the same stuff I do. It's rare for people to tell me they don't like Tom Waits or Nick Cave, say. Or that they didn't like a Murakami book.
But sometimes there's something I like way more than most other people. But I still feel I should share it with everyone.

I love the edited for TV version. I frequently say "Flip you, melon farmer". However the Special Edition does feature an extended interview between Cox and Sam Cohen, inventor of the neutron bomb. His two favorite movies are Repo Man and Dr. Strangelove, which makes him all kinds of awesome.

Goddamned genius brilliant. But it doesn't quite beat the scene with Cox in 'Breakfast with Hunter'.

When it got the re-mastered DVD release, I stared in awe.
It'd been so long since I saw anything but a 3rd-generation VHS tape I had honestly entirely glossed the fact that it actually had good production values. Indeed, impressive ones.
