I have SO many mixed feelings when it comes to Dair. On the one hand, they are the most functional, intelligent, and well-written relationship on the show. On the other, I'm scared out of my mind that if they get together it'll ruin their relationship, if not immediately then eventually (especially if they one day break up). Not to mention the havoc it will wreak on Blair and Serena's relationship. D= If I could take Dan and Blair and give them their own spin-off where their actions had zero impact on the other relationships, then I would be all for it. But at this point I'm very conflicted. D=

But agreed that the show really effed up Chuck and Blair. Spectacularly.

I know what you mean about if Dair broke up. It kind of scares me how nasty it could be although then they could have really hot hatesex O.O. But for now I'm just living in happy Dair bubble, lalala

I would really hope that Serena would be supportive of Dair.

Oh, I agree 100% with everything in that paragraph (even though my OTP will forever be Dan/Serena =P), but this is Gossip Girl. I do not put it past them to use this as an excuse to make more Blair/Serena drama, which they apparently feel can never get old (despite the fans' protests).

Personally, I think the show functions better sans Vanessa...and I can't help being slightly happy every time someone breaks up with her - but I guess, to be fair, N/V was/is less annoying/frustrating than Nate/Serena, Nate/Jenny (*throws up a little*) & Nate/Juliet...and oh yeh Nate/his small career as a Gigolo to that woman.

AND THEN SHOT OF CHUCK POSSIBLY WALKING IN ON DAIR KISSING.

The way promos are edited, I really don't know how Chuck's going to be involved in this at all - MAYBE Dan's all COME ON, let's just go with the rumor and freak Chuck out. ...and then Dair can have that awkward it was a meaningless kiss and we shall never talk about it again (and of course DO - like the we went to one movie thing).

And while I'm not into Chair anymore - I REALLY WANT TO SEE IF CHUCK FREAKS OUT. I'm fairly certain he feels like she's never going to settle for anyone but him :\
