1) What is your opinion of this character? If you like, explain why you like him/her.
Being raised from a Christian background, the first thing I do is separate what I've been taught from what I consider to be Christian Mythology. And then I transform my mental Lucifer in a giant teddy bear. No, not that one. Because Lucifer? Lucifer is the kind of guy who is unimpressed with humanity. We're a stain on a favourite shirt, so it's perfectly logical to get some bleach and try to remove it. Why is everyone else so concerned with this blemish? Sheesh. He doesn't hate humans out of malice -- he hates them out of principle. He gives us the same amount of regard we might give an infestation of termites. Ew. They're icky, they won't actually hurt you, but if you let them be they'll destroy the foundation of your house ( ... )

6) Is there anything about the character you would change?
I guess I'm changing him all the time, really, since I roleplay him. In fact, his ability to change is a big part of why I find his character so attractive. I love redemption stories, where the bad guy turns good, and I do believe that Lucifer has the most potential out of all the angels (and possibly many many demons and/or villains) to have a change of heart. Because Lucifer isn't really stubborn when it comes to his hatred for mankind -- he's just logical. If someone can show him, logically, why it's better to keep people around, then he'll do it. He has no loyalty for ideas; he has loyalty for the truth.

7) If you were in the fandom with this character or knew this character in real life, how would you see yourself interacting with him/her? Would you get along well? Fall in love with him/her? Dislike? Have a friendly rivalry?
My goal would be to try and show him all the life experiences, through a human's perspective, that he might not have been aware of -- the good and ( ... )

As Mark Pellegrino would say, Jacob is Diet Jesus. He's an entity that transcends humanity, but isn't quite godlike. He has his flaws, his temper, but he's also learned how to control himself, and has a deep sense of patience for other people and their own mistakes. He genuinely wants to help the people around him, but I'm fairly certain his mindset falls somewhere along the lines of helping a friend cheat on a test, or writing someone's school paper for them. If you offer up your hand, you're not really doing them any favours.

2) Is he/she important to the general plot?
He basically is the general plot.

3) Can you relate to this character at all? Does he/she grip you emotionally?
I can relate to the mistakes and the logic, but Jacob is extremely empathetic, and I'm not so much. I get the feeling that not only does he acknowledge other people's trials and tribulations, but he feels the pain they cause, as well.

4) How much do you like the ( ... )

Because Mark Pellegrino plays hi--err, I MEAN. Bishop is the possessive father/lover/mentor that will go to any means to protect his family -- sometimes even from themselves, and sometimes even if he dislikes the particular person he's protecting. He's labeled as one of the villains in the series, but... I just don't see that. At all. He has the same kind of motives a normal person does, but his nature gives him the ability to not really care about the means as long as he reaches a pleasant end. He has a gentle nature, only using force when absolutely necessary, and even when he's playing warm, he's got this air of coldness that I just absolutely adore. He can be lovey and tender, or he can be sharp and cruel, but mostly he's just calculating, swift, clever.

2) Is he/she important to the general plot?
Very! So far, he's sort of the puppet master pulling the strings. Certain times he does end up toppling over a whole trail of dominoes.

3) Can you ( ... )

WEEEEEELL... I thought about saying Lucy, but giving our long conversations and role plays, I think you would probably just tell me things I already know (and love and agree with) about him. And he's already taken. ;;

Then I was gonna say Bishop, because... BISHOP, but that's already taken as well. D:

I also thought about Jacob, but seeing as how I'm not to him in Lost yet, that wouldn't be cool. DON'T SPOIL ME, BRO. Annnnd it's taken too. >>

SO I'MMA HAVE TO BREAK THE CYCLE. That was technically done, really, BUT ANYWAY. Since you put Heroes up there, I want to know what you think about Nathan according to these questions.

I miss Heroes. ;;

FIRST SEASON I'MMA BUY WIF MUH MONIES. Then we'll have to sit down and have a HEROES are LOST day.

SEE WHAT I DID THAR?

I SEE WHAT YOU DID THAR. And don't buy Season 1 of Heroes 'til we can make a trip to Knoxvegas. If it's still in stock, I know of a place selling it for $10. All they need is a harvested kidney. \o/

1) What is your opinion of this character? If you like, explain why you like him/her.
Nathan is a logical, self-seeking sort of man, who comes across as arrogant and dickish but, in my opinion, just has a very one-track mind. Do be honest, I really despised him as first. He's (what appears to be) a seedy politician who worries mostly about his image, and what certain events will do to his image. But as the show went on, I got to see more of a softer, more human side -- the mistakes he made, and how they affected him, and even a sort of righteousness to what he did. So I think Nathan is a good man with a flawed mentality.

Also, he's very ~handsy.

2) Is he/she important to the general plot?
Yes, especially in later seasons, where his presence is the driving force for one of the plots.

1) What is your opinion of this character? If you like, explain why you like him/her.
Castiel is an enigma. He's got the vast wisdom of an eternal being, and all the naivety of a two-year-old. He looks more towards the bigger picture, and gets tripped up when people start focusing on smaller, less important (to him) things. He's got a strong sense of righteousness and loyalty, but sometimes ends up hurting the people closest to him (re: Sam and Dean) out of sheer neglect. Also, he's in a state of constant learning -- Cas is like a sponge, soaking up everything around him.

2) Is he/she important to the general plot?
Castiel isn't a main plot point, but he's the kind of character that can pop in and out to help get things rolling, or to solve an otherwise unsolvable issue.

3) Can you relate to this character at all? Does he/she grip you emotionally?I think I relate mostly to the sheer ignorance for little details. I'm usually looking at the bigger picture, and though I do a lot to make sure all the smallest things are set perfectly ( ... )
