I've spent the last 2 days in the Urology theatres and while it has been interesting I am starting to lose rapid interest at how many different times cameras can be inserted up urethras. I grant you it's different depending on the sex of the patient but after you've seen it done a couple of times each it does become tedious

As for AR and I/C, I'd assume "in character" for the latter but have no evidence to back it up. And no clue on AR

AR = Alternate Reality according to wikipedia. But I have my doubts about the kosherness of that site when it comes to factoids.
Although I am working on a current AR.

And I live in one a lot of the time anyway!
