Wow! I just got interviewed for the graduation issue of the school newspaper. I'm one of 3 graduates being featured. Look out for that around campus and at the show at the end of the week. Holla!

I think the differentiating point between good art and great art is excitement. Not just how much the work excites the artist (because if a piece doesn't excite the artist was probably dead before it was done), but how much it excites the viewer. Wow, I am having entirely too much fun with stenciling. It's so tedious but the end product is so wonderful.

Right now I have Dillinger Escape Plan's Miss Machine playing in the garage. Through the walls I can barely hear it: I just hear some muted bass noises and some of the drums and it sounds like this really quirky pop-meets-Mario-Bros music. ( Read more... )
