ashes, ashes, we all fall down

End of a long weekend, and I'm just glaring at my alarm clock, calendar, and the sun slowly setting out my window. Work again? Ugh. At least this month it hasn't been near the disaster April was. I just read Inferno as well! It was actually the first non-required book I picked up after my coursework ended, lol. And yeah, it was awesome. I actually enjoyed The Lost Symbol, but not as much as the other two Langdon books, and Inferno was def a step back up. (It didn't hurt that I've loved Dante and all his hellish imagery and storytelling since FOREVER ago, lol.) Definitely a great read.

And if you don't feel like looking in a mirror, look at my eyes. They see you as pretty damn awesome. :)

I think I just found The Lost Symbol too predictable for my liking. I'm used to Dan Brown being able to blow my mind at least once or twice per book, and it never happened for me with that one.

... Actually in retrospect, I probably should have seen more of what happened in Inferno coming, haha. Brown seems to have his general plotline, and yet somehow Inferno still surprised me.

Now just waiting for the book where LANGDON is somehow the bad guy, just to mess with all of us!

Edit: And also, congrats on finishing school! Amazing! (So great to read for fun again, isn't it?)
