Tonight I'm going to be trying my hand at DMing d20 modern for the first time, it's with good friends and I've planned the story ahead of time so it should be good. So far I've got 1 person who's a veteran, 2 newbies, and 1 person who has a small bit of knowledge of the system, so should be good.

I lived! Finally got power back, hurricane Wilma hit us pretty hard, thankfully no major damage...

Had to hop onto a dial-up connection with AOL on a trial membership...I feel dirty already, but at least I'm back in business. Once cable gets back up, I'm going back to high speed.

I love cooking~ I'm making dinner sometime this week, I've decided on making the following:

Grilled Chicken Chipotle Sandwiches
Red Potato Salad
Stewed Celery with Herbs

Such fun!

I got We Love Katamari, and there's a nasty stage in there where you have to collect 1,000,000 Roses....

As of this moment I am at 20,051.
Update: As of 6:13, Sept 24, I hit 43,677 Roses. Well on my way!

Theorem: All numbers are equal.
Proof: Choose arbitrary a and b, and let t = a + b. Then
a + b = t
(a + b)(a - b) = t(a - b)
a^2 - b^2 = ta - tb
a^2 - ta = b^2 - tb
a^2 - ta + (t^2)/4 = b^2 - tb + (t^2)/4
(a - t/2)^2 = (b - t/2)^2
a - t/2 = b - t/2
a = b
