"I'm coming, Doctor." Sarah Jane calls back. Currently she's looking over her son with a fondness only a mother can have and checking him for damage. There is none, of course. The TARDIS had been rather agreeable and the Doctor would not put her in danger if he could help it, much less Luke.
She tassels Luke's hair, affectionately. "Come on then." and with that she takes up her half-eaten sundae and joins the Doctor outside of the TARDIS in a pair of familiar camouflage pants and a simple shirt.
And Luke's perfectly fine. Not a scratch on him. Then again it wasn't like either of them would've allowed him to get hurt. He knows this. Has known this even before he accepted Sarah Jane as his mother. Well, this Sarah Jane anyways.
So with his own ice cream and in (to him) weird colored clothes he walks out of the TARDIS to join his mother and their Doctor. Kind of odd to think of Four that way.
Four does something with the whip that ends with it fastened to his belt-- he's wearing a belt?-- and then rests his now-free hand on Luke's shoulder, turning his ice cream covered grin in Sarah Jane's direction.
"Never, Sarah. I just know you're not going to volunteer to clean the drips off the console room floor." He glances at Luke, gives his cheek a fond pat. "Not bad for a first trip, was it?"
Sarah watches him in amusement, trying to hide the giggle that is threatening to emerge but she can't hide her smile. She makes a motion with her thumb across her upper lip to let the man know he has icecream there and then smiles.
"If it were my mess, certainly I would have. As it is, you're the one who has the cone and was traipsing about the console room."
