David will be promptly tacklepounced by one finally full-grown-again Witch. "Congratulations!" she (there's really no other word for it) squees. "I saw the note - that's glorious!"

David laughs, rather startled by her sudden pounce. "Jaenelle!" He chuckles, and wraps his arms around her to hug her tightly. "Why, thank you!"

She beams from ear to ear and kisses his cheek impulsively. "You're welcome. Oh, you just have to let me meet him now. That's so exciting!"

[englishgent]

"Oh I most certainly hope you will!" He says with a happy smile, giving her another squeeze. "If I arrange a meeting, shall you come?"

Ken reads the note and speaks aloud, not knowing the person is nearby. "Ooh, congratulations!"

[englishgent]

"Many thanks!" David calls out from the nearby chair.

[ken_murata]

He peers toward the voice. "One of them is you?"

[englishgent]

Typist: Apologies for the delay in reply.

"Indeed yes, I am David." He smiles over at the boy.

[englishgent]

Typist: Shall we treat this as the initial meeting, then?

David moves to thank, but then he registers the tone of the voice from which the words were delivered. It takes barely more than moments for that voice to spark a recognition.

"Marius?" He says, turning his head.

[jareth]

Jareth grins when he sees the notice, and the expression only gets broader when he spots David himself.

"Congratulations."

[englishgent]

It takes little time for David to notice Jareth, and he stands, smiling wide. "Ah thank you, my friend, thank you."

[jareth]

"Have the two of you set a date for the wedding?"

[englishgent]

"Ah not yet. I thought perhaps I'd get him over the shock of the proposal first." He chuckles, quite obviously in a jovial mood.

"We have time enough, though I shan't lie and say I'm not eager to make him mine."

He gestures out to the nearby chairs, "Shall you join me a while?"

Armand looks around for either of them, and spies David. "Congratulations! You must be very happy. I should tell Chris if Nicolas hasn't already."

[englishgent]

Typist: Sorry about the delay in reply to this.

"Armand!" David smiles as he sees him. "Yes I am! We both are. Very happy indeed!"

Armand reaches to shake David's hand. "Have you a date set?"
