Crackplot: When Canon Goes Wild

Jul 09, 2007 21:30

The Mansion has a library, which, as we know, possibly rivals the Unseen University's for content if not for size. A lot of books, basically; a lot of stories. And some stories, because this sometimes happens, have gathered different versions of themselves over time. Which wouldn't normally pose a problem, except now the room's been tampered with. *because there is actually, for some unknown reason, a martial arts film reimagining the forging of the Sampo (and one would assume it has a script, which may be in the library), here is Ilmarinen--martial arts master!*

Typist: I kid you not. Thank you, typist. XD

So, uh. Here is Gaheris v. 2.0: very, very popular with the ladies (and not married at all, since the lady Lynette was married to his brother Gareth) and very, very much sleeping with his mother.

Because she was in the library anyway and her typist is evil, here is Cimorene. She is wearing a rich gown, her hair is combed in loose waves with a gold circlet topping it, and, though she is the same age, she looks older and sharper. She is wearing very little jewelry, but it is very expensive... and includes a ring on her left hand.

T: I may have to make another post for uncrackplotted Percy. I apologize for that to him in advance.

Gaheris eyes her for a moment and sidles over. "M'lady."

...oh, please do.

She raises an eyebrow, her expression one of carefully mild boredom. "Sir. Would you care to tell me where we are?"

We don't know why he'd be in the library, but it doesn't matter, because the typist can't resist. So Gareth is all at once broad shouldered and tall-- very noticeably so, with thick gold curls and angelic blue eyes and seeming somehow less-- well, frankly, less dim, in that good natured way.

Gaheris eyes his brother warily. Gareth is one of the 'good' ones, after all, and he isn't.

This is farther from eying and much closer to seeing, noting, and proceeding to snub entirely.

Dammit!

"What, ho, brother," in a rather Agravainesque tone.

The library is far from Icarus's usual haunt, but he'd just decided to peek in, out of curiosity. Not a moment after stepping in, though, in the place of one small Greek boy can be found one smallish Greek teenager. He's quick to move form the library, though, and can be found standing somewhere in the hall, arms crossed, a suspicious and vaguely arrogant expression on his face.

Mary is walking along the hall with an armful of laundry, and she may just bump into him.

"Watch out," he says, not unkindly, just very teenage boy-y.

Which brings her to a halt. "Oh, dear, thank you." Then she pauses, and looks at him a little more closely. "Oh, do forgive me, but--I really am afraid I'm getting old. We know one another, don't we?"
