YT letter, etc!

# It turned bitterly cold this week. Thank goodness for the TG 4-day weekend. I can huddle on my new bed for a few days, do homework and grade, with a wonderful day of cooking and eating and watching movies to start it all off. So far Akira is on the playlist, and we're looking for at least two other anime movies to watch. Any suggestions

Ummmmm.... It's not exactly anime, and people have criticized the animation for not being all 3-D Pixar awesome and all, but the story is fantastic and the whole thing is hilarious: "Hoodwinked," a bizarre retelling of Red Riding Hood. \o/

We picked up our videos before you recced this, but it sounds interesting, and we just had very good luck with Tangled, the new Disney Rapunzel adaptation (quite good indeed!) so I think Hoodwinked might be in my future. We wound up seeing Akira, Batman: Under the Red Hood, and Defendor, which is not the quirky comedy it's advertised as, but a fun drama anyway.

I <3 4-day weekends, especially when they power me up to get back to work, which this one did. Hope your TG was just as awesome!
