Finales

I'm 2 for 2 with series finales this year: The O.C. and Gilmore Girls both had satisfying (if predictable) endings, and both made me cry.  And I really don't cry at TV very often.

You know what won't be making me cry?  The series finale of Veronica Mars next week.  Because I won't be watching it.  And that's the saddest thing of all.

I cried at tonight's GG a lot. A lot. Which, I was not expecting but it was nice. Even though I'm not a fan of Luke/Lorelai and liked Rory with Logan, STILL. It was very satisfying and had tearjerky parts.

I will probably watch next week's VM for... closure or something. I don't know. I don't see me crying, but I do hope Jason Dohring gets another job yesterday.

I keep meaning to email you to ask if you're free to talk - I just suck. So how's your week looking?

It's nice that you were able to glean satisfaction from other shows you're watching, I must say.

I'm with you on the saddest aspect of the whole VM debacle.  Man, I never thought it'd end like this.  In spite of all the bitterness I've got in me, it's still unfortunate and saddening to think of what might have been.

Tell me about it. I don’t watch GG but I watched most of the OC. I kind of didn’t bother with S3 as Marissa drove me mad but S4 was a lot of fun and the whole Ryan and Taylor pairing was really sweet.

I thought the finale for S4 and the series was really satisfying if not a little cheesy but at least it gave it’s fans some closure I posted about it at the time Here If only we could get something half as good for VM but I KNOW that won't happen.
