I don't like this trend because I cannot see it working with my sensibility. But this is mere hypothesis because neither do I have a child nor do I live in Bangalore.

At a societal level, I don't think there can be a solution to this issue (if it can be termed an 'issue'). It is a choice that individuals make, and it comes with its own set of consequences.

Yes...things keep changing, and it's always difficult for our perceptions to keep up.
