Nature..and Mythology

Indian mythology is replete with the most interesting tales...interesting, that is, in terms of the behaviour of the humans, gods and demons that are the characters in the tales. And a conversation today, with Karthik gave me two parallels between Nature and mythology!

I heard about the gastric brooding frog on the radio--and then searched the internet and found pictures of the baby frog in the mouth of the mother, preparing to come out. Amazing!

And the story of the sage-eating demon and his brother was great :D

I wonder if the rest of my life will be enough to tell KTB all the tales of Hindu, Roman, Greek, Norse and other mythologies.... what a treasure chest it is!
