thank you Yathin! I have updated.

And tell me if that is a stick insect or a preying mantis...I realize from the next comment that you would not have been able to see the last couple of photographs.

Thank you SO much for telling me about it. The problem was the age-old (I use those words advisedly!) one of syntax error! HTML is a new thing to me and I think I would make a lousy code-writer right now...another learning process I am undergoing, sigh! All this a href stuff doesn't come naturally, I can tell you!

I will also take care to cc you in on any such events in the future. May I remind you about Saturday! ;-))

NOW go through my post and comment please!

"use a little tool called semagic."

heheh...I use it...but still, with tags, I sometimes make a mistake in the sytax.

"so what update on the action items proposed. Will anything be done about it and were task forces formed? What about he 6th action item. What happened to that?"

The 6th action item is to be done purely by JLR...co-ordination of our initiatives, I think. All my notes, as I said, are sitting with someone else now...crapola, I HATE losing my reference notes!

Waiting for the minutes etc to be posted, then I will use that...

My suggestion to JLR would be to provide a very basic tented accomodation at a slightly cheaper price. High enough to keep the picnic'ers away.
I would love to visit very often but the price tag is too high.

Following the footsteps of JLR, lots of other small-time resorts too charge a bomb for a stay of one day/night.

You guys have already brought up this point in the meet.

yes, indeed, and Sandeep is working (we were talking about it a couple of hours ago!) on a camping/tented accomodation package.

Indeed it was one of the frequently brought-up topics! Eg. when I was visiting JLR once or twice a year it was just about OK, but since getting into wildlife, I have made so many trips and it is PINCHING!!

But as to WHEN it will come to fruition....well, let's hope for the best!

Nice pics, particularly the antelope one! Post processing or not, that is very good.

Sounds like such a productive gathering, and your photos, especially (to my mind) the first one of the sunset and the "burning bush", are lovely.
