As I took the bus to the Ibis Hotel (near the Arlanda airport) from Stockholm Central, I saw what I thought was a parked and exhibited Jumbo (Boeing 747).

That would have been fun!
Except I would only stay in the rooms with private bathrooms!

(And from what I saw on the website it is not that inexpensive!)

Ibis is always good value though the rooms are pretty small when we've stayed at them.

I'm able to see your comments and reply here in the US, too :D

Since I was there just for an evening, I might have settled for a communal bathroom; I'm not sure, I've never done it before!

But it would have been a unique experience. I can understand that the rooms must be small. When they want passengers to have as small seats as possible, why would they let them have more "room"? :D

The individual rooms are only 5 sq. metres. That's barely enough room to turn around in.
But as you say...the experience might well be worth it.
