KTB was quite scared of the bagpipers and said twice or thrice that they might kill us....!

I tried one of those strange scooters once, and found it quite hard to manage. Only with a lot of effort could I get it to move forward at all. In my opinion, it was easier to walk. I hope he got the hang of it soon, though.

I've seen kids zip around on that sort of scooter. I'm not sure I could make it move much given the arthritis in my back. Ah well...for the younger set, then.
