Riding down 2nd, with panniers full of groceries and a hint of belgian in the bloodstream, entering tornadoes of leaves at every intersection and trimming out to 5 degrees left or right lean... definitely a stone well-skipped.

Turns out that wasn't a bullet we heard yesterday, but Glenn's bike tire bursting from the heat of his car's exhaust.

I think I was riding up 3rd at precisely the moment you were riding down 2nd. The eddies of swirling leaves really was something to behold. A stone well-skipped indeed.
