Camped on Strawberry Island Saturday night (Full Route)Very low-key, I think the mountains are still way more exciting than islands and the sea. But, it was good to get out of town, take a nap on a moss-covered rock, and drink around a campsite

You, my friend have never experienced needing to reef a main and do a headsail change in 25+ knots of wind. The sea can be pretty damn exciting.

I think I understand your point though.

Very true... the wind was dead calm to maybe 5 knots the whole trip, and we paddled when the tides were slack.

But there's a certain feeling I get in the mountains that I haven't found on the water yet. Maybe I need to get further away from container ships and RVs of the sea.
