I loved the reunion a lot. Hurley gives the best hugs. But that scene in the jungle between Ben and Illana was downright amazing. I've never been a fan of Ben's, but there was something very moving about his story in this episode.
I know, right? I've always liked Ben for all his Machivellian squirreliness, but this is this first time I've ever even come close to caring about him before.
Before this is out, I will love Ben in all aspects... first it was because he had a contingency plan for EVERYTHING. (Though often it was just made to seem like a backup plan)
Now his actions towards the island make a bit more sense. He gave up everything for it only to have nothing to show for it. I think Richard captured it best with the whole, "I gave up my life for the promise of answers. I don't get to have them now. Kill me."
Richard's comment about Hurley seeing Jacob was interesting. I've been debating the amount of crazy Hurley actually is. Jacob pretty much sealed the fact that he mostly isn't. Didn't Charlie tell him things that Hurley shouldn't have known as well?
Regardless, amazing episode even though Alex shouldn't be alive in the parallel timeline. (lalalalala too awesome of moments to care)
What really made it for was that little part where Miles tapped Hurley on the arm, like "Dude, remember me?" and Hurley is all noticably glee-happy to see him. Awww, you guuuuys. *hearts*
Oh man, that made my year. Those boys make me so happy.
Heh. I wanted to hug Ben too...but that can only lead to him killing us later. ;)
It looked like Ben DID make the right choice -- TWICE! I hope he doesn't come back with an evil mastermind plan that it was all a part of, though. That would just be so Lost-like -- and Ben-like -- wouldn't it.
WHEN is Richard's episode? 'Cause I will LIVE for that day. I've never been more ready to know a character's backstory in my entire Lost-life!
Fucking Widmore is gonna be on team!Flocke, I just know it. If there's any good that'll come out of Jack being the new old-Locke, it'll be him blowing up Widmore's sub so he can't take Flocke off the island.
Shine on, you crazy grave-robbing diamond.
Oh, LOL. Now I'll sing that in my head every time I see Miles. ;)

If Jacob never brought the French expedition to the Island, then pregnant Rousseau and her husband would've made it wherever they were going, right?
