Field of dead sunflowers

I get to drive around a lot for work, and this summer I passed a place with a giant field of sunflowers stretching as far back into the foreground as I could see from the road. They were all in bloom and bright, and it reminded me of postcards and calendar shots I've seen ( Read more... )

Aww, this makes me miss upstate. On my new commute I get to see giant fields..of buildings. Regardless, I have never seen huge fields of sunflowers. Where did you see this? It sounds so wonderful.

Between Elbridge and Camillus. :)

It's really beautiful up here now, the leaves are at peak.

Hardly any of the leaves here have changed yet. But I just remembered that there is a bike trail leading right from the park on my street to out of Westchester county and from what I see in pictures its incredibly scenic.
