Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow...
I am officially moving on to my next phase of existence tomorrow afternoon. I'm doing my last bit of laundry as we speak, and in the morning, I pack up the last few things. All that's left is purchasing a couple of items and buying my new laptop and printer, and I'll be closer to ready for my new adventure. I'm terrified. I've had more anxiety ( Read more... ) -

Stupid shampoo.
Okay, so another mark against the new shampoo. It burns like fire when it gets in my eyes. I never had that problem with the old stuff. Sure, it would sting for a couple of minutes, but after a quick splash of water, we'd be good. This stuff barely got in one eye, and despite some frantic rinsing/splashing and cold water sponging, it kept burning. ( Read more... ) -

If you hear "power injector," RUN.
Today was the CT with contrast. I gotta say, I was okay with it until I saw the "power injector." Basically, it cuts out the middleman between contrast medium and patient and blasts the contrast into you. There's probably a more technical description, but that's how it seems from the patient's perspective. Like something out of a Black & Decker ( Read more... ) -
