I've often said that Jess-on-the-ceiling was the moment the series hooked me, because I was absolutely certain they were leading us in the direction of an drawn-out love-triangle scenario (and even back then I was jealous for Sam... Don't let that handsome devil of a brother turn your head, Jess!), and when they killed her, when I figured she was going to be one of the leads, I thought that took some guts.

In retrospect, I think there's the possibility of a pretty cool show with Jess still alive somehow. I think she had the potential for awesomeness.

I love Jess and Dean/Sam/Jess is one of my favorite threesomes, as long as it's not pre-pilot.
