7 year old Mez and her leet writing skillz

So, here's the first piece of writing I still have. I think I was 7 at the time.

It is presented, spelling mistakes all intact, for your interest and amusement.

Please note: I was heavily influenced by Enid Blyton and the Narnia books. And "Julio" is not Hispanic - it's pronounced in a similar fashion to "Juliet ( Read more... )

I REMEMBER THIS!!! Taeries! I got to the times-of-the-day part and realised I could almost say them along from memory. See how memorable you are - this was, what, 20 years ago? Now I want 'Lithuania' stories please Deird!

I remember your teacher in grade 3 reading out a story of yours (admittedly heavily influenced by The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe) to demonstrate to the assembled parents the range of abilities in his class. There were gasps from the assembled company. The author was not announced but I recognised the style.
