My "something else" for storing clothes in the bedroom is what I called a dresser/dresser drawers. Or the closet.

Actually, I meant what Emmie is calling a closet...

Keep entry-spamming! Woo! :D

The "doors" and not door, is what confused me :)

Although, there are closets with sliding doors...but usually, what comes to mind is just the one.

Really? My (walk-in) wardrobe has three.

Maybe I've just been sheltered in regards to closets?

*shrug*

<--would love to see a photo.

However, I do have a sliding door closet with three sections, but it's not a typical closet--not a bedroom closet--so I didn't count it.

...did I just go crazy and say I have a walk-in wardrobe? *facepalm*
I have an in-wall wardrobe.

Photos will almost definitely be around for my Average Aussie House post, whenever that happens.

Mine has two that meet in the middle and fold out on slider thingies in the top. It's good for flinging open dramatically when you don't know what to wear.

We'd call that a walk-in wardrobe. The word "closet" isn't used much in England - it's too reminiscent of WC,the lavatory. *g*

This. I have closets, so that's how I answered the question. My parents have a wardrobe (which their cat likes to climb like Mount Everest).
