I'll start with the simple: why did I wake here? And how come no one has ever heard of this place?

I'm afraid I know as much about that as you do yourself. As for why you've never heard of Nuadoria... I would assume it's because you are from a different world like all the others.

Where is Nuadoria? OR- what is Nuadoria?

If you're a native, you must have some idea what's going on.

[there is a slight pause as he considers his words before replying]

Nuadoria is here. I cannot explain to you where it is in relation to your own home. As for what it is... I imagine the answer to that is fairly obvious.

Unfortunately, I do not. As I explained to another, I have only just returned to this place myself. I suspect I have just as many questions regarding the current state of things as you yourself.

[he chuckles softly]

I doubt that. [silence for a moment, except for a soft buzzing in the background] -- Tell me what you do know.

I know very little about the current happenings, as I mentioned before. I believe asking one of the Magisters would likely give you a more informed answer, though I can't guarentee it. They can be rather fickle.

[he sounds rather amused as he speaks towards the end there]

And what kind of assistance can you offer?

Whatever is needed of me, I will do my best to assist with. Though if you are asking about my specific skills, that is a different matter entirely.

If I were to ask, what skills do you have?

... I'm sure you're aware of the current situation. From what I understand, there are already others who are working towards reversing it. But any information on how it may be prevented from happening again would be useful.

I consider myself an apt swordsman, though I am no user of the elements like the Magisters.

Yes, I am aware. Though I am unsure of how it may be prevented again. Nuadoria, it seems, has become a rather unstable place.

Your majesty.

What a delight it is to hear your voice again, and even more so to see that we share a common concern for the welfare of the arrivals.

And here I was worried we would have nothing in common.

Magister. Or is it Inquisitor now?

If only I could say the same to you, but I pride myself on not being a liar. How unfortunate that you haven't changed at all in that regard.

As for our common concern for the welfare of our guests... Well. While I am intrigued by your outward concern for them, I can't help but wonder if some aspects of the past will repeat themselves in time. Loyalty is such a fickle thing, isn't it?

It's very polite of you to offer the choice. If it's you, I'm satisfied so long as it's not my name.

You aren't glad to hear from me? Honestly, that's not the sort of response that befits royal blood. Wouldn't a more noble man be pleased for one less casualty?

You needn't trouble yourself too intensely about my involvement with our guests, Highness. We're all traitors, in our own ways - and as you know, I've never betrayed someone who didn't deserve it.

Please tell me that icon still isn't like that? deifies February 17 2009, 01:45:41 UTC
I'll be sure to remember that, and ask the same in return.

One less casualty, yes. In that regard I am quite glad to hear from you, Magister. However, I do regret that my personal opinion on the matter is somewhat void of enthusiasm.

On the contrary, Magister. I'd like to think that any guest or resident of Nuadoria is very much my responsibility. Frankly, your involvement at all is worrying. I do hope for all our sakes you do not find any of them undeserving of your loyalty.
