First, I really enjoyed the episode. I don't think it reinforces the usual emotions. None of the women were crying etc. They were reflective and perhaps sad but again they were not basketcases. Neither were the men except for Evram but he is dealing with post traumatic syndrome and alcohol withdrawal. The strongest emotion was guilt and everyone seemed to be dealing with their emotions in an acceptable manner. The genders seem to be on an even par.
Yeah, I agree with ymmat. Decent balance between how the men and the women are portrayed to be dealing with Rubicon. Still. It wasn't so much about the actual dealing with Rubicon, but more about how Rubicon made them remember other things they've already dealt with.
Liked Zoe's little comment on how something is wrong because Jen is quiet and Jen is never quiet. Also liked that Jen took her up on it and opened up a little. Although still, they were talking about dudes... *sigh*
it looked like jen was going to have a nervous break down at some point,i want to see more of the jen and ted fling poor rollie i think was so jealous.they did it show AJ this time i do like the flash backs and they showed zoe's mom.my favorite part was when christina cox was all sweaty from working out she looks good even doing that. i think most people hate nadia on my facebook we were talking about the show it seems like every one likes it.there is so much to say about it.
I thought it was interesting that each selected an item then Ted returned it. Paula put in a medal obviously mindful of what Wass had said. Donner put in the baseball- goodbye to Sharon and guilt? Zoe the tarot card - good bye to her guilt over the abortion? Jen got rid of a photo of her and Rollie which I didn't quite understand. Evram didn't feel much like a hero so the medal is obvious. Wass - some of his porn. Ted? What was that? Nadia her pilot wings although we don't know their significance. But all released something that they had carried guilt over then Ted gave it back to them. It is interesting that only Donner threw away his selection the second time. I'm wondering if we will see Donner being more upbeat and less guilty? I hope so because I really would like to see him being less ' moody '.
it seems like everyone is guilty of something if i was jen i would it get married and be on a ship for six years i would of waited till after.i think she is guilty of her and ted it's like they rushed getting married her and rollie iam sure we will know more as we see more flash backs.i think is the best part of the show cause we all know how they all came togather.i think the beta could be zoe unborn baby and they put into the ship as a computer or something i think it's her child for some reason. but you never know we have to wait and see.
