I learned a lesson...

I learned a lesson over the weekend. Babies bounce. Kinda like tigger, but not as graceful. I went into the guest room around 8:30ish because I heard some noises that sounded a lot like a certain baby who should have been in her crib. When I got into the room I saw Alison had gotten herself out of her crib and found all the cleaning junk that ( Read more... )

HA! that IS kinda funny. I do that with my niece too. But her head is one giant callass(sp?) she runs it into everything. We think she's gonna have brain damage when she gets older.

Awwww! Poor Allie! Hopefully, she'll go around thinking that playing with cleaning supplies leads to landing on her head.

She doesn't need to go that far, but so long as she realizes that those are not toys then I am fine with that.

How much of a mess could she possibly make by playing with cleaning supply's, worst case she makes one unbelievably clean spot on the floor. Besides I would think that you would want to encourage this sort of behavior. Their is something to be said for having a ferocious cleaning midget.

I wasn't concerned with a super clean spot. I was concerned with A: her swallowing some of the cleaning solutions, or B: a warped spot/damp stain in dad's new floor.

I know it was a joke (I did laugh at it) and I wasn't picking on you. Just using your comment to further try to explain my point. I already thing I am not a good father, I don't need others joining me in this. As far as the floor, I know it is not "new" anymore, but Dad sure as hell acts like it. I hear about it every single time the crib gets moved without foot pads under the legs. He is still fussing at me about it as if it were brand new.

I know why it is funnier here then it was then. There isn't a crying baby in front of you.
