"Ya know, I don't think ya do actually." Vivian smiled, she can never think of a goddamned question anyway, and is sure there was mention somewhere about them changing the sign.

"Rusty..." She looks as though she's thinking for a moment, trying to place the name. "Ain't no ringin' no bells buddy."

"Me?" There was a definite pause before she continued, what did she do exactly?

"I've done all sorts, ya know fly by the seat of your pants kinda girl."

Danny smiled, with a knowing air. Either she was ashamed of what she did, or was ashmed of doing nothing.

"Really? And where does the seat of your pants normally take you?"

Or it was a combination of the two, she never used to be so bothered, but things were kinda different these days, since she got married.

"Right now, I'm just keeping my eye out for opportunities. An old debt got called in, you know how it is. Just when you thought you could sit back and take it easy for a while."

One of Danny's eyebrows curled upwards a little and those cogs started turning once more.

"You're looking for work? Perhaps we could talk about that. I may just have an opening. I would have to check with my partner first, though."

"Depends what you mean by work really. I'm looking to raise a lotta cash in a short space of time."

Vivian's face dropped at the thought of how much and how quickly. She doubted Danny's theoretical offer would come anywhere close.

He doubted Vivian would be able to fool Benedict for long, if at all, but that didn't mean she was useless.

"Well that depends what you mean by alot of cash. What are we talking?"

"About a quarter of a million." Vivian shrugged grinning, it was ludicrous and completely impossible. Why was she even bothering? In a month's time she'd be screwed.

She sighed, "So unless you really are about to rob a casino, I doubt you can help."

"Have you got a number? I don't want to come across as some leery old guy or anything." Danny smirked. "I might need it if you're looking to score something that size."

[viv_ward]

"Sure." Viv smiled, honestly surprised that he was still talking to her after she'd told him how much. Or maybe he really was a leery old guy trying to pull a fast one.

If he was though, it wasn't something she couldn't handle. What did she have to lose? She scribbed her cell phone number down for him and handed it over.

"I've dealt with more than a few leery old guys in my time Danny. If you're havin' me on, I aint gonna take kindly to it. But honestly, if you're not, then I'm definitely interested."

Danny rarely looked serious, but this was an occasion that warranted it. He held the cellphone number and waved it thoughtfully at her.

"Leave this on, it will ring in a day or two."

[viv_ward]

"I'll be waitin' for the call." Vivian answered, reciprocating his seriousness with a nod. She just prayed the guy was for real.

Whatever he had in mind, couldn't be any more risky than her current predicament was anyway.

"And hey!" She smiled. "Thanks."
