Uh, no. You really can't heal Lor'themar. His health pool is WAY TOO FREAKING BIG to heal him.

The ONLY effective way is to keep him from getting hurt. Which means Fracture cast by Dragonmaw Bonecrushers needs to be interrupted ASAP by someone. Stun, knockback, not sure if interrupt works, but that's HOW you do that fight. You cannot expect the healers to keep his health up. You can't expect ANYONE to keep his health up. That's not how it works.

Hmm, when I was doing Galakras in flex with my regular raid group last week, the raider told us to heal the NPCs. So it sounds like that is floating around out there as a strat that people are saying to do, whether it is actually viable or not.

Me, I was throwing heals on him at every available opportunity and really not making much of a dent.

He has 69 million health (almost 70mil). A 25-man raid full of healers probably has maybe a chance at keeping him up, but that's bad info for LFR or Flex. I'd hope on Normal people would know, but who knows these days?

Yeah, healers are better served using their own stuns/knockbacks (if they have them) to stop the Bonecrushers, since healing them from say 50% to full again just won't happen. The trick is for everyone else to not suck and let Bonecrushers wreck the NPCs to begin with. :D
