Excellent opening and terrific imagery here. It’s like you can feel along with Sam as he falls down that rabbit hole, holding onto the hope that is Dean, and knowing the slippery slope is going to be his downfall, not caring as long as he has his brother.

Ohhhh and, I didn’t see this coming, using the Morton House and Sam being kidnapped as a point for Dean to lose his shit over losing Sam!

Thank you, bb! I wasn't sure how to work in the Ghost Facers episode at first, because there's so little SamnDean in it...I'm glad what I went with worked.

I agree with Sammich. Great chapter. Jus in Belo is such a devastating episode with the boys losing even when they win.

I loved them finding that tiny piece of reconciliation after Sam's kidnapping and that a physical force like Dean could be tucked under Sam's chin in an embrace. <3

Thank you so much! I felt like we needed a touch of them getting back on the same page, and that image of Dean tucked under Sam's chin was one of my favorites to write. I wanted to have little signs that Dean is not holding up as well as he'd like everyone to think.
