That's hilarious! It should count as Post-Rift fic, too, which is my favorite kind. I especially loved the pillow-whapping. Thanks for writing it and putting it up!

That was really great.

Still I would love to know two things: 1. reactions when he doesn't show up - who gets that Superman is not coming to them first; 2. reactions once he starts showing up with Lex.

"...God, you're such a--big, dumb alien!" He grabbed a pillow from the sofa, ... and whapped his friend upside the head. "Big. Dumb. Alien!"

And really this is why Lex is perfect for Clark -- how many people would hit Clark/Superman over the head with a pillow even though they know it doesn't really hurt him. I am sure that it made Lex feel better though.
