Polyamory and Consent -- some thoughts

I understand, Cyan Blue. There has been quite a lot of discussion about the concept of "consent" and the meaning of that word, and how it's been used as a tool to force one person'Interes will upon another. Interesting stuff, and worth at least skimming.

Back when I joined the Marine Corps in 1972, Paula had to consent to my enlisting. Right there, on the spousal consent form, it clearly stated that consent, once given, could not be withdrawn.

I think the same idea applies in any life-altering decision involving other parties which will place obvious stresses on a relationship.
