This made me cry, Sam's love for Dean comes through so clearly in how he is protecting the missing part of his brother's heart!

Eric made it very clear in the finale, when Sam overcame all his memories, even the hell torture ones, because he wasn't going to leave his brother out there alone. I think he'd do this. I think Dean would have done it for Jess, had it been possible.

I love those boys.
