"Fire is life, not just destruction."
I love this chapter.
Excuse me while I melt with happiness. Being the opposite of water yet able to heal (The division between the elements being an illusion a la the guru anyone?) Azula possibly being saved.
The Zukaang in all its epicness, tragedy from Zukos end and reasurrance from Aang. The kiss which isn't perfect and yet perfect in its imperfection (Um... that makes sense... yeah).
Excuse me while I go crazy with happiness. I really needed this chapter!

I'm really glad you see the same possibilities I do. I just can't image fire NOT having capabilities that have something to do with its life-attribute.

Funny how you should bring up Jeong Jeong. I do have a chapter coming in his POV, dealing with White Fire.

That kiss was well-placed, it came in just at the right time. Yay~
Nice work! Keep it up ^_^
(sorry if this is incoherent. I've been having a strange day and my brain is just not functioning)

I am limitlessly amused and awed by the mental images people are able of conjuring up from what I write. This is one of those 'awed' instances. Thanks for sharing. :)

I didn't comment on the last chapter because ACTION! and I had to just keep going haha. But I want to tell you that it was very concise and easy to see the picture you were painting, which can be tough with action packed writing! Well done!
As for this chapter: more whoa. That kiss was so marvelous and sweet and perfectly Zukaang in all the ways I could ever imagine. I'd always fancied that their most important kisses (important kisses? I'm so articulate and make so much sense I don't even know) would never be perfectly choreographed or "movie moment" kind of things. They would just look incredibly awkward to everyone else while to them it didn't matter because they were the kisses shared at their peak moments of pure emotion towards each other that anything "perfect" would be betraying their actual feelings.
Okay, I talk to much haha. And hmmmmm, I haven't keyboard smashed in this comment yet.

Again, thank you. I don't think that the most emotion-packed kisses are ever anything short of clumsy and fumbling and so very awkward.
