Aww, this was such a sweet chapter! A bit short, but sweet nonetheless.

I love how u told the story of the fire spirit...and how the air spirit could cross multiple oceans for the fire spirit. That's a wonderful analogy for the two! *_*

It's funny you came up with this story because I was reading Hindu mythology/religion the other day. Cuz I thought I should get to know my own culture more. @_@

And guess what?? I found out that we DO have a fire spirit named Agni! Haha, Bryke, you dweebs totally stole that from us! xD
And get this, Agni's twin brother, Indra is the lightening spirit. Azula perhaps? Oh, and the air spirit is Vayu. :3

Great use of myht, both the story and Aang's thoughts on it. Also love this part:

the firebender had taught Aang to appreciate these moments of silence and peace that the active boy should have found unbearable. But now, as Aang watched the sky lit in various shades of red and yellow, he did not think there was any other way he would have preferred to spend the evening than by Zuko’s side.

As always, very cute and awesome. I notice that you're straying a bit more from the canon, and it is really interesting to see your take on how Aang would react when it's just him and Zuko alone. Looking forward to more!

Thank you. I'm glad to hear you're liking this. And I had to start straying from canon at some point if I was going to get Aang together with Zuko instead of Katara. Not to mention it's more interesting now that the readers won't always know what will happen next. Hopefully I'll be able to get the next chapter done soon.

I've been following this series for a while and I wanted to let you know that I think it's awesome. I like how it builds on itself both as Aang and Zuko's relationship progresses and as the comet grows closer. I can't wait to see what happens next! ^_^

Thank you. I've been suffering from a writer's block lately but I hope to get over it as soon as school starts again. Vacation kills my creativity.
