If you were asked to create a "carnival/sideshow freak/horror" costume.. what would you base it off? For both male and female.
I'm having a mind blank, the obvious would be clowns, ring master etc.. but does anyone have other ideas?

I've been wanting to purchase some ascots like these, but I'm not sure how to tie them in that sort of bow. I've looked at a lot of tutorials and played around with some fabric at home, but the closest I have come to the look of this is just tying a regular bow (now a bow tie, just like one would tie a bow with ribbon ( Read more... )
