O.M.G - sometimes it's not so bad having insomnia - I'm up watching an old episode of Taggart from 1992, season 7, ep3 called Double Exposure - and who should I see - younger, with a very late 80's early 90's haircut but...Jason Isaacs!
All I can say is fwoarrh! Although the haircut does remind me of Greg from the Wiggles, which is unfortunate.

I am currently having a session clearing up the hard drive on our TV recorder. I have a terrible habit of hitting 'auto-record' whenever he's doing an interview - and have just filled a 3 hour disk with all these snippets...

I'm a bit like that myself with snippets and whatnot. I just backed up a lot of snippets, screencaps and other assorted bits and pieces - you'll fill it up again, you know - I always end up that way, anyway.

I do have the Taggert episode on Netflix, but it's marked as "unknown". (snuffle) :^< Why has it never dawned on me to see if the episode is on youtube? sigh.

Never heard any form of Scottish accent on him before ... not bad, although I'm sure my Scottish friends would disagree.
As for the St Ives bit ... long hair, period clothing, cane, inebriated ... type cast, moi? ;-)
Thanks for all these goodies. x

I'm okay with the hair (who's Greg the Wiggle?), it's the oversize suit that is distracting for me. OPA! Thank goodness that weird suit line went away! He looks so much better in Sir Mark's or Det. Britten's suits.

JI is just so YOUNG here! And, yes, the clothes are not good.
Now I think of it, I must have heard him doing Scottish before as I have some of the CH audio books (but have only listened to a bit). He is amazing at voice, but there was one moment in one of those Taggart clips when he just turned into Sean Connery. Mind you, that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Ooh, look - we mentioned Case Histories so I have an excuse to put up a Jackson Brodie icon.

Goooooo...sigh. I heart Jackson Brodie. Meep.
Oh, yes, he was very young looking. I know the premise of the episode, but I've never seen this entire episode, so I lost the reason why his twin was playing dead. I also couldn't figure out how the twin appeared dead at the ID. Anywhoo...
He also seemed exceptionally young in Dangerous Lady.
Well, since I mentioned a Michael, I'll have to go with Michael Caffee. ;^)
