Just in case there was anyone out there unaware of this fact [which I highly doubt], I am retarded. Not in the 'actually mentally deficient' way, but in the 'derogatory term' way. I'm sure you've noticed, as almost everyone on the planet, when asked for the definition of 'retardation' replies with 'go talk to Kat ( Read more... )

Nope, we pretty much do nothing. I try to get him involved in whatever I think about planning, but he's pretty unresponsive. But to be fair, I don't really plan anything interesting, and neither of us knows too many things to do in Philly that don't require any money at all, and aren't just going to Rittenhouse Square and watching other people watch us. And, he's not much for art, although he was very interested when I was stone carving. He's a tekkie, and has thus far displayed very little interest in the subjects of: anything you would watch, anything you would make, and anything you would play. All three of which are large parts of my life, being that I am... me. But I figure that I'll give it a few more weeks, and if we both agree that this really isn't much of a relationship beyond one of complete and hopeless awkwardness and disconnectiveness, then.... we'll probably part ways. Which is far too nice a way of saying something as awful and hard to do as break up with someone ( ... )

well, have a talk with him, and explain how you feel...maybe things can change...maybe they won't...but communcation is key in any kinda of heathy relationship

as for the dreamer pic, i think that would be a great print for otakon, maybe a few others like it too...a series of those kinda of prints
:)

I do try to talk, but we both kind of avoid the questions, or mumble the answers. Not a very 'healthy' start, if you ask me. I do appreciate your input as far as this matter is concerned, but I would like to let it be, for now.

Hm. I'll try to make a series of them. That was actually a self portrait of sorts, so maybe I'll just make a series of different personality things. And it would give me a chance to play with Illustrator again. Oh, Illustrator, how I've missed you. Thank you for your suggestion! I'd give you a cookie if I had any. And if you were conveniently located within arms length of said nonexistant cookie.

What's the umbrella thing?

Hm. Well... it involves an umbrella. And paint. But I didn't want to say 'painting umbrellas' because I figured it was a fantastical idea that someone would want to steal and market before me. Then I said 'pft. Kat, ur dum.'

Psh, as long as you do it better than they do it at Busch Gardens, you're good. ^.^ I was just hoping you weren't planning on sewing anything on cause then I was going to have to be like "yanno that's gonna leak..." But you're all good! ^.^

Hmm.... sewing things on umbrellas makes them leak, you say? Maybe I should sew things on and then market faulty umbrellas. It will be brilliant! All of my customers will be too sick to sue me before I skip town! Bwa hahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahadshjkalskdj.

I'm so much cooler than Busch Gardens. I mean, I have FEET. Ducks have feet. Busch Gardens ain't got nuffin' on us.

And now, simply because I am bored and avoiding art, here are replies to each point. Wow, I should go do something... something.
1. ... Music. Everyone loves music, right? Music's got to work out somehow. Yup.
2. It's not very hard to burn Sculpey, as I have found. It's very easy actually. But paint covers it almost entirely as long as you cover evenly and all. As for the sewing, I've got one book on metric patterns and I'm seriously contemplating getting one on pattern making if you'd like to borrow either.
3. I am a fervent believer that rooms were never meant to be clean. As for your adorable ball of fur, he just wanted to help clean and didn't realize that mold isn't edible.
4. They both have P in the name and I'm sure they've had other people make the same mistake. Probably have some form of connection between their offices just for this sort of thing. Like carrier pigeons or fleet-footed emu-mounted messengers or something like that...
5. Knots are hard. Rejoice, for you have conquered them! Yay! Happy dances!

Well, since I'm still avoiding art, but only just, let us continue!

1. ... Is that even humanly possible? Who is this guy?! And your music's not wierd, it's very cool. Yerp.
2. But your colors always come out so nice! Just... don't mix on body parts anymore, m'kay?
3. Maybe. But then there could be a fight to the death in Tekken! Or, better yet, Guilty Gear! And edible poisonous mold is not healthy and therefore not very good to eat and thusly not entirely edible.
4. I still say they have courier pigeons! And, if not, you could always just visit their offices or they'll mail you and tell you. One will give you credit for the coming months, the other will depend organs or m money for payment. That's all! Everything ends semi-happily.
5. Wow! You got an obi knot figured out?! This requires a full scale party! Yes!
