Oh, you're as good at the cliffhangers as ever! And for once I don't know what's happening! *shakes fist at cliffhanger*

But yay!!! Finally, I get the sequel to TGoT that I've wanted since even before you finished the original story :) And it's brilliant. Poor Rose - her nightmare's perfectly understandable, given the hell she lived through for months, and it's not at all surprising that she needed to see Jackie.

And Jackie! I love Jackie-Doctor interactions, and this one's brilliant :) Huge points to Jackie for keeping him off-balance throughout the visit, and for scaring him rigid by telling him that he's family and she expects visits and phone calls. Better say Yes, Mum, Doctor, and live with it *g*

This, I love:

Somewhere in the last few months - at least for them - Rose had grown up. She wasn't Jackie's baby girl any more, she was a woman. She couldn't separate them, nor did she find she wanted to. It was a dangerous life they led, but she knew he'd do all he could to make sure Rose came back to her. One way or another. ( ... )

*insert evil laughter here* Thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying this. I thought about it, and decided that I had to have a Jackie scene in here. I had to have Jackie treat him a bit differently, and I had to have him feel a bit out of sorts because of it.

I'm so glad you also liked those lines! More tonight :)

Ahem *calms down long enough to comment*

This was a very nice start. Poor Rose reliving her experience in a dream. Lovely of Ten to comfort her and suggest the visit home. I liked Jackie here. It's a bit weird to have her treat him so nicely without the TCI storyline, but her change of heart toward the Doctor is just as believable here as it was in canon.

Poor Rose though. Where is she? Some sort of alternate universe? and who is this stranger that becomes a friend? Jack? Or somebody else?

*gets hyper again*

LOL! I never would've guessed you were thrilled about the sequel. Nope. Not at all. I'm glad that you're enjoying this so far! As for Rose, well...we'll find out. *g*

All of this is gorgeous, but especially this:
She'd held her daughter during part of the tale, but what was most telling to her was that Rose went to the Doctor for the rest. He'd opened his arms so easily for her to settle beside him, her cheek against his shoulder, looking like every image of every perfect couple she'd ever seen.

Just... gah, it's awesome. ^_^ Can't wait to see what happens next... the cliffhanger is killing me...
