I was on the bus on my way to York u when I saw the funnel clouds. I was not sure if I was seeing things because the horizon was perfectly grey and there were a couple of grey lines that spilled over.
It was hot the past few days and now this. I am welcoming the rain but tomorrow is the first day of The EX and I don't want it to rain :-(
Hi Daphne. It just rained here in Niagara Falls. Did not feel much of the tornado. The weather has been very weird since Monday. It was 32 degrees celcius but humidex was 40. Then this happened.
I could still remember the great black out of 2003. It was August 14 and I was 6 weeks pregnant then. Had to call sick because I am not feeling well. It had so much impact in Ontario, I guess people here are so used in living in first-world that they could not move without power.
I didn't realize that tornadoes hit the Toronto area. Glad to hear that your family is fine. my niece just flew to Halifax to start university (St. Mary's) on a volleyball scholarship (so far away, but hey, it's FREE) and they're expecting hurricane Bill on Sunday. scary. meanwhile, Vancouver is enjoying sunny days.
Toronto has changed so much. There's been lots of crimes but mostly between the youth. I think it's unfortunate, I'd rather hear about crimes committed by adults, since children are supposed to be the future and all. If you didn't turn it down we (my family and friends, your fans) would see you more often on the tv. But then again, we really enjoy watching you on UZ!
