Daniel forced himself to keep his mouth shut, giving Jack one of his signature sardonic smiles, until Colonel Young was out of the room with a slammed door.

“He doesn’t like me.” He finally stated matter-of-factly when it was just him and Jack.

With a dismissive sound, Jack pretended to be distracted by the high res photos Daniel had taken

I liked this. Their daughter, each voice, the happy it had me feel. I could have gone with longer, like for instance Jack keeps an eye on Hayden, but I did not write it so not my call. Thanks, twas a nice read.

No bleeding from my eyes due to spelling or grammar either so an added star for that.

Actually, I think I might write a follow up with Jack babysitting while the parents go out to have some 'fun'.

BTW... do you think Jack consults Vala for the inside scoop on Kiva and the Lucian Alliance? Because that's the "string-pulling" that makes me suspect how Jack got Vala + baby into the Pentagon. ;-)
