I loved this! I love the slightly off-balence feel to the whole thing, that's some thing I really like about Daniel and Vala's relationship. They knock each other off-kilter in such a way that they perfectly balance the other out.

And Hot 'n Cold is one of my top ten D/V songs, so extra love for the lyrics!

I'm glad the off-balanced nature of it worked well. I figured it would since it is a DV fic, but never can be too sure about these things!

I had Hot N Cold stuck in my head while writing it, so that's why I couldn't help throwing the lyrics in there.
