First, pleases me to know some of you are interested in seeing the rest of the fic I posted the teaser to last night. Was working on it a little bit more this morning, and also this morning I figured out where I want the whole thing to go. I'm way confuzzled by this whole redone CotG thing. What?! I don't understand. Please explain, preferably in short words. Have they refilmed it, or reedited it, or something else? I am soooooo far out of the SG1 loop. I keep hearing (well... reading) you talk about it, so I figured it was time I asked what the frick?!

It was reedited - some stuff was cut (the nudity, several lines, etc), some stuff was added (mostly little Jack/Daniel scene that are SO WORTH IT), the graphics were remastered (made to the more up to date, later seasons stuff), and Chris re dubbed all his lines to sound more like he does in the later seasons. More like Teal'c, if you will.

I'm glad that did this reedit...it was nice to see some things that were cut, and to have some of the awkward stuff from the original cut out. But I'm glad to have the original too b/c it IS the original and there's certain things about it that make it classic and...the lovely EARLY SG-1 vintage stuff.
