Dangermousie's Dozen Most Anticipated Cdramas

For some reason, I am more excited by upcoming cdramas than twdramas, kdramas, and jdramas combined. So, behind the cut is a list. The only order is alphabetical.

I am sure you have figured out that out of all dramas, period cdramas are my favorite, so it's not surprising that this list contains so many. But a few modern dramas did sneak in.

This is not cdramas, but I wonder what you think about Hu Ge's upcoming movie 辛亥革命 aka 1911.

LOLOLOLL the FengMi magazine cover with the gloriously fake tan. I love it. All the while advertising how awesome denim is.

I'm like OMG YAY for more than half of your list, so clearly we'll be waiting desperately for the same things. :P Hate how Chinese productions can take more than a year to kick off. The Korean live-shoot system is absolutely insane and means lower quality (plus I feel sorry for the exhausted artistes) but at least I know I'm going to get my drama and soon!

Destiny's Concerto, Hu Fu Chuan Qi and Modern People (Ivy Chen and Hu Ge OMG give this to me now! ♥) are right on top of my list. Emperor's Beauties and Rainbow Sweetheart to a slightly lesser extent, and WTF I never knew about that Yuan-Hong-as-an-archaeologist drama! That I must watch, and I can even lie to myself and say it's career-related. I'm also kind of looking forward to Ivy Chen/Shiwon/Donghae's Extravagant Challenge/Skip Beat. Please let it be cheesily good and not just cheesy

The FengMi cover makes me giggle. I wish I was in charge of props for that photoshoot. "Here, let me spray some more of that fake tan on you, FSF. Do you need help rubbing it on?" LOL

I don't mind waiting because the quality is so much better/consistent than with kdramas (not to mention that doing liveshoots for an epic is insane). But yes, I want them all nooooow!

Hu Ge/Ivy - all I keep thinking is Guo Jing and Mob Girl kicking things :)

That Yuan Hong thing looks too yummy for words. Apparently he's a playboy whose family gets murdered and he gets tortured and gets angst and fights opressors and has an OP. And is the lead! OMG WANT WANT WANT. I wouldn't have known about it if not for awesome mookiehyun. No idea when it's out though

I'm incredibly tempted to get my hands on a copy of that magazine, just so I can look at that cover for kicks and giggles every so often. :P I can just imagine what my mother would say if she found that mag in my room, though

I hope Legend of Tiger Amulet or Destiny's Concerto will be airing soon. (aka some time before fall/October)

I just finished Jade Palace Lockheart and I'm already having withdrawals.

Not giving away any spoilers- but the ending left me wanting more. >.

OH MY GOD...I've just been squeeing all over twitter but Yuan Hong as a lead in a drama??!!!! Finally! And description sounds pretty interesting^^ And I really hope this one goes better than his last...but I am so excited!! Thanks for posting the news!

The only other ones on the list that I might check out are Zai Zai's latest and probably the MingDao/Joe Chen one. Still am watching Three Kingdoms and started The Duo---not sure if I can add another historical to my list.
