It's here! You've released it early! Damn, that nearly gave me a heart attack!
You've done some amazing work with motion here; there's half a million little moments I probably haven't complimented you about yet, so to name just a couple: 0:46-0:47, the cut from raging Curt to Arthur's father with their poses and emotions both so similar and so drastically different at the same time; and 1:06 - the way you spin the footage of the festival concert here to slide it in as a continuation of the previous shot - it's dizzyingly wonderful. I feel like I wasn't the best of betas on this one, because it turns me into a quivering, incoherently babbling puddle every bloody time and if I managed to communicate any criticism in this state it's positively miraculous.
I wasn't sure because there was a total LACK of Mandy-ness and it was only until I was halfway through this that I realized that. DDDD: I know you like Mandy and her plotline.
This is so shiny and wonderful. I especially love how you construct the OT3 - given that Brian and Arthur don't really interact or anything, the influence on Arthur's life is intercut enough to show the connection. So much fun.
Thank you! I did have too much fun making it, particularly trying to find ways to weave the guys together. The movie's got so much to work with though, it became about cutting back in some ways rather than adding.

OMG, you rock so hard. I never would have thought the song would have went with the movie, but you made it work. It becomes funny and innocent in a playfully happy way, despite the serious nature. The pushing and pulling of the clips is wonderful. Great pacing as well.

Cheers! Thanks so much for your feedback. :D I was struggling to find a good song for VG and I actually listened to this one and thought, hey, it could totally work, in a really weird way . . . It presented a nice challenge, which, I won't complain about because challenges keep things interesting.
